Website design and development

New business - need a start-up website?

If you are starting a new business it is a given that you need a website to help promote your service, reach out to and help build trust with your potential clientele. There can be lots of considerations to mull over, such as: What kind of site you will need? How much time/money to spend on its development? How will it look? How much content will be needed? etc. When working with a new business we tend to take a flexible approach, we understand people sometimes change their plan about how the site should develop and are happy to listen and make the required changes without fuss. We do not expect you to know all about website design and its strange nomenclature and will take the required time to explain the different elements of a website and how we think we can help your new business do well on the web.

Re-design - don't look behind the times.

The internet develops quickly and design tastes regularly change. This does mean websites often need to be redesigned to keep up with the times. A consequence of an old website can mean people are left with an incorrect opinion of your business or it can be difficult to use and read on various devices. Sometimes a new site is needed due to a change in the structure or service provided by the business. Whatever the situation we will take the time to listen your what your requirements and will go over what we think will be needed to bring your site up-to-date and easy for customers to use.

Development - need someone to code a new feature/function?

Whilst you may be happy with your current website there can often be additional features or content that needs to be added. These additions can be extremely varied, some easy to do and some more involved. Perhaps, you are too busy running your business and have no time spare to work on your website, as a result, the need to hire some outside help arises. Whatever the scenario we will be able to provide - no job is too big or too small.

Cost of Website Design

It can be  tricky to give an accurate price for a website without first finding out what sort of website you are planning to have - what functions etc. However, it is useful to have a rough idea of what you might need to spend for the type of site you have in mind, so here is a very rough guide.

A "brochure type" site, consisting of 1-5 pages from: £400.

This sort of site would normally consist of several pages of text/images about the business - it is fine for a business that wants a presents on the internet but do not plan to develop it too much in the present time (or for those on a limited budget).

A medium size site: prices from: £550.

This is a larger site, maybe incorporating a blog and/or a admin section where the client can add/edit extra content on the site themselves.

Large site / e-commerce site from: £1000.

This would be where a site requires some more bespoke functionality or for an online shopping site etc.

Please contact us we will be happy to give an actual price for your website.
